OBD2 Diagnostic Code Reader Adapter Scanner for Polaris ATV
This is a diagnostic OBD2 code reader for Polaris with the 8 pin Plug Adaptor for use with certain Polaris vehicles Slingshot, ATV. With this tool you can read and reset fault codes on your Polaris vehicles diagnostic port. This scanner uses the correct protocol to communicate with Polaris vehicles.
Which Polaris models are covered? Please always check what connector you have. It will cover all Polaris models and also includes a extra adapter cable in addition to the 8 pin plug that can be used on some older Polaris models. It will also work on some heavy duty trucks.
Typically used with diagnostic readers to convert the standard 16 pin plug into the required 8 pin plug. Can be used to read and reset fault codes.
The adapter cable now has a newly configured pinout design which allows it to work on all the scanner protocols unlike the older adapter cables being sold which don't work on all Polaris models. This newly configured adapter cable will work on 99% of Polaris models and the scanner is able to read the correct protocol for Polaris vehicles.

Note: This will not work on models with a 4 pin diagnostic connector. Before buying, check your diagnostic port it must be 8 pin.
